Cabin Charter is where a couple or single person would join a yacht with a Skipper aboard and cruise the Ionian Islands - and further - in company with other yachts. There will be other passengers aboard and the program will vary from just chilling out to a hands-on introduction to sailing for those who want to "Give-it-a-GO". This can be either a one or two-week programme - see our 'special programmes' for 2012 trips into the Sea of Corinth including some sightseeing days to sites such as Delphi.
Skippered Charter is as above (cabin charter) but this time you hire the whole yacht and not simply the cabin; therefore ideal for a family or group of friends. This is a great option for those who have not sailed before or do not wish to learn to sail, but still like the idea of sailing. While you may be asked to lend a hand when necessary, the rest of the time you can relax; enjoy the scenery, read and daydream. Available as a one or two-week programme and again the two-week 'unique programme' is available; but please note that these are only being run on selected weeks - as advised on the 'unique programme' page.
Living Ashore
If you are a little unsure if a week or two on the water is for you then live ashore is the option. An experienced skipper will teach you all you need to know up to a Level Two Keelboat Certification, or simply as a taster and introduction to yachting. These are on a day basis and in the evening you will return to the land comforts of a hotel or villa. The two-day modules can be taken on any consecutive days during your holiday on Lefkas. Minimum number of persons is two.
